Report on Training of the micro-credential legal framework in Project partner countries

The Implementation of all analysis results and proposals in the Guidelines for the implementation of micro-credentials in Project partner countries higher education was organized at the FH Joanneum Gesellschaft MBH, Graz, Austria, 22nd – 26th July 2024.

The meeting was held according to the Agenda, with a total of 15 representatives from Partner Institutions, three from University of Belgrade (UB), three from Qualification Agency of Serbia (QAS), one from Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU), and four from the FH Joanneum Gesellschaft MBH (FHJ) and University of Lleida (UDL).

After welcoming speeches by Dr. Georg Wagner, Head of Institute, FHJ, and Mr. Sinisa Djurasevic on behalf of the Project coordinator, the project team started work.

During the first day, general project activities and its development/ progress were explained and discussed, together with agreement on the Guidelines for the implementation of Micro-credentials in Higher Education form and the content.

Second day was dedicated to following topics: How can models like micro-credentials support reskilling and upskilling in an industry setting, EU4dual experiences in developing micro-credentials, New micro-credential approach in partner countries, and Exchange of Micro-credentials.

On the last day, the Legal situation of micro-credentials in partner countries, Micro-credential delivery at partner universities, and Quality assurance in micro-credentialing were discussed.
