1st EU4Green Regional Education Workshop was organized by the WUS Austria in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, 04 October 2023.
At the invitation of the workshop organiser, Prof. Đurašević Siniša presented the results of the MicroGuide project so far, and for more than an hour he answered the questions of the present and online participants, including representatives of the European Training Foundation.
The EU4Green project started in January 2022 and has the overall objective to enhance the Western Balkans transition to modern, resource-efficient and competitive economies and the specific objective to support the Western Balkans in the implementation of the Green Agenda, thus achieving their commitment to transforming their economies on a more sustainable path and reaching climate neutrality by 2050.
Specific objectives of the workshop were:
- Articulation of needs for green skill development (educational level, topics, regions, specific target groups…)
- Identification of regulatory requirements, accreditation and admission of potential micro-credentials (Manual for Micro-credentials, Good practice examples)
- Collection of interest and commitment to co-develop Micro-credential portfolios for 2 pilot initiatives in selected economies or specific regions
- Any other important items to support the implementation of EU4Green and the Green Education activities.
